Instagram just released it's newest feature: Instagram Slideshows. You now have the option of sharing up to 10 photos or videos in one post by creating these "mini albums".
Why is this so awesome, you're wondering? Read on to find out...
First of all, it allows you to tell a story through your posts without worrying about overposting or cluttering your followers' feeds. You can for example show off the different stages of a recipe you've created, and provide your followers with step-by-step instructions. You can also share different shots from one photo shoot, so you no longer have to decide between you two favourite photos, and allow your followers a behind-the-scenes feeling that creates that "know, like, and trust factor" you hear me talking about all the time.
You can also still reuse the different photos from your photo shoots and space them out over time, as only your album cover will be displayed in your feed.
And for influencers, this is also great news because this means that you can share more content and aspects of a product and you can, therefore, charge more for an album than you could for a single post.
